Soon after his first steps onto the electronic music scene in 2012, producer Yavor Topchiev a.k.a. ENGMNT/ Hotlife built a strong reputation for his rich sound and melodic style. The first one to describe Yavor as a talent to look out for was none other than Tiësto, who playlisted several original tracks by Hotlife in his Club Life radio shows.
With multiple releases as Hotlife for labels such as Cr2 and Black Hole Recordings, Yavor is currently spending most of his time writing new music for his collaborative project with Tomo Hirata – ENGMNT. The two producers collaborated for the first time on “One Last Time” featuring Jonny Rose in 2015. The tune was picked up by twoloud’s Playbox label and supported by many international top DJs such as Dash Berlin, Yves V, Swanky Tunes and Manse. The song reached #14 on Beatport’s Progressive House charts and has 380,000 plays on Spotify. In the same year, they also released “Got You” feat. Anna Yvette, which was supported by Don Diablo and Tritonal, consequently reaching 500,000 plays on Spotify.
During 2016, they consumed much of their time actively producing and preparing for a new direction for their music ultimately culminating in the establishment of “ENGMNT” as a permanent project. Though from completely different backgrounds, together they bring new dance music that reaches beyond the genres of Bass Music, House, Trance, Pop and anything. You can expect many new tracks from them during 2017.
