Your first step toward professional sound. In this module, we’ll build a strong foundation—introducing key mixing principles, analyzing sessions across genres, and applying techniques to real projects. You’ll learn what makes a mix “good” and how to achieve it.

- Basics of balance and frequency spectrum
- Working with EQs, compressors, and other core processors
- Mixing steps and structure – from rough balance to final mix
- Comparing demos with pro mixes – what’s missing?
- Gain staging principles and dynamic control
- Practice on both ready-made and your own sessions

Once you’ve mastered the basics, it’s time to dive deeper. We’ll explore modern mixing approaches, creative effects, automation, vocal processing, group and parallel treatment. You’ll learn by working across different genres—hip-hop, electronic, rock, pop. This level is taught in a group format by mixing engineer Dimitar Ganchev.

- Mixing vocals and background vocals
- Parallel compression and bus processing
- Creative effects and automation techniques
- Working with references and studio calibration
